KARACHI: Disgruntled Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Kamran Tessori, two days before the conduct of general elections, announced he would not contest the polls from any constituency.
While addressing a press conferences here today, Tessori voiced concerns over the MQM-P leadership ‘taking decisions of their own choice’.
“Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui holds all the authority over MQM-P,” said Tessori.
He said all the responsibility for the MQM-P’s performance in July 25 election would fall on the leadership, adding he has no ‘ideological differences’ with the party.
The former MQM-P leader went on to say that he has reservations over the ‘census and delimitation of constituencies in Sindh’.
Tessori had earlier announced to contest elections as an independent candidate.
