Shikarpur police have apprehended 2,256 proclaimed offenders and 337 absconders on bail and 1299 criminals wanted to police in different heads like murder, police encounters, dacoity and miscellaneous, police have carried out 53 police encounters with dacoits and injured 05 dacoits and arrested 102 bandits, 45 gangs have been busted of narcotics dealers, police have recovered 08 Kalashnikovs, 04 Rifles, 45 Guns, 96 TT Pistols, 02 Revolvers, 09 Repeaters and a good number of ammunition, police have recovered 113 Kilograms Hashish, 152 Hemp, 18 grams Heroin, 236 litres of wine and 8560 Kilograms of Gutka / Panprag in a drive against narcotics.
Shikarpur police have seized 58855 litres of Iranian Oil and arrested 26 criminals and registered cases against them.
Moreover, 63 stolen and snatched motorcycles valued 2790,000 have been recovered during the period of 24 August 2019 to 1st March 2020 and handed over to their real owners in programs held at SSP Office Shikarpur.
As many as 39 raids have been carried out by police against gamblers arrested 183 gamblers and recovered bid money 171850 and 75 mobile phones.
Also, 388 motorcycles, and Trucks, Mazda, Coach, Suzuki, Datson, Cars, CNG Rickshaw have been challaned under section 550 CRPC.
Traffic police have challaned 274 motorcycles and recovered Rs 203,900.
As many as 86 cases of property have been solved during above mentioned period and ratio remained 75 per cent.
Also, 55 persons belonging to other districts of Sindh and other province have been rescued who came to meet their girls’ friend on honey trap.
Meanwhile, 36 women safely recovered and 28 have been handed over to their parents and 08 have been sent to Dar-ul-Aman.
Seven people were recovered during police encounters with dacoits at Katcha area and 12 kidnappers have been arrested and weapons seized.
Also, 87 complains out of 87 solved received through IGP Sindh complain centre, total 95 complains received through PM Portal all of complains solved, 63 complains received through RPO Sukkur and DIGP Larkana all of issues resolved on first priority while 686 local complains received from them 645 have been resolved while 41 complains are in pipeline.
Nasim Bukhari, the PRO SSP Shikarpur Dr Rizwan Ahmed Khan, said that there is no abductee outstanding, no any highway and bank dacoity took place, motorcycles snatching incidents have been decreased while vigilant eye upon criminal activities through CCTV cameras is continue.
Dr Rizwan Ahmed Khan has established Investigation Scrutiny Cell at SSP office Shikarpur for strengthen the investigation and prosecuting of district therefore during aforesaid period 2961 police officials witnesses attended scrutiny cell and prepared their statements in courts so that conviction of accused is improved.
In a message Dr Rizwan Ahmed Khan, has advised the criminals to surrender before police otherwise who will be taken to task at any cost because police have committed to provide relief to the people of Shikarpur.
